Unabridged Audiobook
I gave it double five stars because the series was good but I feel like it kind of fizzled at the end. And here we go another Defense of the same city with the same stone. The previous books made such a big deal about preparations but in the end it was mostly just Eric swinging a sword. The most intense part was the port attack on Krondor but it was over so quickly it was a letdown. I also got tired of the narrator and little things he does like the way he makes every person from Kesh sound the same nasal high-pitched voice. You’re telling me no one from that area has a deep voice? Honestly the most interesting parts of this book were the demon.
Enjoyable but at times especially towards the end rather long winded.
