I enjoyed the book and narrator.

I enjoyed the reading of this classic story. I don't usually care for many narrators, especially ones not already well known but I was pleasantly surprised. Well done!!

Its a wonderful old fashioned children's story harkening back to days gone by.... possibly post WWI or II time period. The narrator is lovely and gets better as the chapters go by.

Excellent story that was fun to listen to! The best Librivox narrator yet!! I’m from Texas and she did not sound Texan. She sounded as if she could be British and changed her voices enough she could work for audible! It was so nice to listen to someone who could really narrate !

What an absolute perfect gem of a story! This is an old timey tale that one can reminisce having been read to them in chapters, every night before bed as a small child. One that every adult would take great pleasure in reading to said child. It is a perfectly proper book!! I’ll be looking for it in hardcover to add to my library!

This was a charming story filled with adventure, hardship and the love of a family. The kindness of the characters harkens to a different time and was most enjoyable..

The story of the book is amazing and the narrator had a sweet voice and acted out the characters voices in the story. I would definitely recommend this book. I would definitely read this book again
