It was a good read, but the narrators left a lot to be desired. Either very quiet or reading too fast to grab all the details I am sure the author included for a purpose

Only one section seemed a bit drawn out unnecessarily…but it was very fine, otherwise. I had to slow the reader, but she read well.

Enjoyed the reading and the story line as the author writes with such exceptional insight and description !

I enjoyed this story as a child and was delighted to revisit it as an adult. The narrator did a fabulous job. Anne and her small fry took a back seat to the Meredith crew and Mary Vance but clearly LMM prefers stories of children facing difficult circumstances with spunk, imagination and spirit. The Blythe children don’t face harrowing conditions until Rilla of Ingleside.

I enjoyed this book, nice light story, the liverbox recording was annoying owing at every chapter
