Marisa Castilla's life is in need of a rewrite. Her ex-boyfriend/boss just fired her, the guest room she's occupying is about to be taken over by a newborn, and she's drowning in student loan debt. Swallowing her pride, she reaches out to her estranged father and makes the temporary move to Red Mountain, leaving behind her beloved city and corporate ambitions. Transitioning to being a lowly reporter for her father's small town newspaper is a culture shock, and constantly bumping into Ethan Ledger, her less-than-friendly neighbor, who also happens to own the vineyard cottage she's staying in, doesn't make things easier.
