Reckless by Evelyn Montgomery is a second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lucy Rivers and John Lane. This is the third book in the Destined Hearts series and can be read as a standalone. I loved the chemistry between Rex and Gwen. Their relationship was extremely messy and took me on an emotional rollercoaster. I couldn't help but root for them to figure out their relationship. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series Deliverance so I can get Troy and Jolene's story. John and Lucy did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to make you feel every emotion the character is feeling in that moment. I don't think you could have picked better narrators for this book! I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a second chance romance.

Gwen is a smart, knows she loves Rex, but is scared her secrets may cause him to run. Rex has his own secrets and when he reveals them, it may be the end, so who should go first? And will it break them? I love a good story that focuses on young love that is truly a soulmate kind of heart. Even with distance, time and tragedy, nothing can keep them apart and Rex and Gwen have that. Love this story and their rocky journey! Lucy Rivers and John Lane are the narrators and boy do they tell this story! Rivers has all the emotional turmoil a young girl can have. From her sick twin to a surprise in her relationship, everything is crazy. And she matures her to now, creating a fabulous character. Lane is the abrupt, quick to draw conclusions Rex, and his feelings are pouring out of him! Love these two, their sensuality together, their ability to tell a great story and a keep me riveted!
