liked the book, but found the narrator kind of awkward to listen to

I did not think this book was for me, I was wrong. A great example of a rom-com and a lovely narrator.

As far fetched as the premise of this novel is, it "works"! The characters are fully developed and the author has created people we can care about, with all their strengths and weaknesses. The "enemies to friends/lovers" theme in this sort of romantic novel may be overly familiar to readers, but the author makes this "work", too. The writing is entertaining, yet with several serous moments, and some effective life lessons for everyone, not just the LGBT niche reader. Being an older reader (75), I was challenged by some of the youth jargon and pop culture references, and personally could do without the abundant expletives ( but that might just be me). The narrator is superb! Versatile and believable in his characterizations.

absolutely marvelous

I wanted to watch it before the film on prime and I'm glad I did. I really love how the story between the two characters develop and I can't wait for the next book.

Have read it twice now. This was the book that got me started in to reading and I still love this book as much as the first time I read it ❤️

Hands down one of the best books I‘ve ever read!!! Fell in love with the characters and laughed my ass off several times! Incredibly well thought trough story line. This book just made me happy! Highly recommend!
