Unabridged Audiobook
A truly excellent narration of a classic Georgette Heyer Regency romance, one of the works defining the genre. I enjoyed all aspects of the narration: the different voices, the narrative voice, the way the narrator showed all the sometimes volatile emotions in the heroine's voice and the aristocratic drawl and enigmatic, sometimes cutting humor in the hero's. These protagonists are not my favourites but the narrative performance made them both more likeable than they appeared on reading the book. I recommend it to all Georgette Heyer and historical romance fans!
Lovely book, well read. Love Heyer
not my usual genre but an enjoyable light read.
