Her troops have musketry and advanced fortifications, but the invaders use ships and cavalry to outmaneuver them. Both sides know a long war could ravage the farmland, leaving winners and losers alike to starve.


The fate of the country depends on Mara’s shrewdness and Deborah’s will.
