Unabridged Audiobook
Reputation is a single dad x nanny trope with some fake dating and age gap thrown in. I liked that they almost started like enemies, and how strong Emerson was. We’ve all had terrible bosses and wanted to threaten to quit and Emerson actually saying what we want to say was so satisfying. And Nate reflecting on his actions and actually changing was wholesome. But Nate was so wishy washy, he seemed insincere at times. It felt a little like he was playing with Emerson’s emotions, and using her love for his daughter to manipulate her. And the constant Taylor Swift references were a bit much. But I did enjoy the narrators. Lucy Rivers always matches the speed of my brain and Tor Thom just really fits the “wealthy single dad” embodiment. I’m always on the look out for books they narrate!
