Unabridged Audiobook
basic and badly grounded
A doctor and Mom's book for resilient life. It is instructive but almost every advice is explained medically, spiritually or psychologically. She's been through tough times and shares her experience. Worth reading. You can read in bits and parts. It's usefull where ever started from
Wowza, great, level-headed, applicable, common approach to having a more balanced and livable life--personally, professionally, marriage, family, friends, society. The premise draws on and clearly explains the relationship of one being part of a universal whole (environment, spirit, body, mind), and the benefits from recognizing and walking in such. Basically, an easy listen audiobook while simple multi-tasking. But, also has a lot of good lists & "try this" & "scale of 1-10" that can sit down to deeper absorb as well. Definitely worthy to listen through several times with so much good, practical, easy-to-apply information. For readers who are gun shy about religious teachings, this book is the best parallel to easily understanding and applying Biblical principles that I have read in my lifetime without any actual biblical reference. The author does so without referencing any religion as much as simply tapping into and teaching a methodology--the truth that one is connected to humanity, earth, & divinity. Understanding and apply this truth allows one to walk, lead, love, & live in harmony and resilience.
