Unabridged Audiobook
4.5⭐️ for the story, full 5 for the reading of it. I loved the narrators and they did a great job getting all the feelings across. The story was super engaging and I loved all the characters! The adorable town was so great, I wish I could visit and befriend all these people.
I loved this story so much. These characters have been through so much, and they both feel so stuck. While Anderson Black is content to go through the motions and live with his guilt and grief about his cousin's accident, Wren Ballard has chosen to make changes. Freshly divorced, but lacking inspiration for her clothing line, she decides to find a cabin for the summer outside of the city and find herself again. What she actually finds there is so much more than she could have ever expected, and what she brings to Anderson's life is exactly what he needed. Since this is a Kandi book, y'all know the angst was top-tier, the found family vibes were beautiful, and the spice was *chef's kiss.* The side characters were all so wonderful (except for Wren's ex, of course.) I loved how Anderson and Wren found each other at a time when neither was looking for love, but needed exactly that. The narrators were wonderful, and I truly loved this book! Thank you to Kandi and her team for the audio copy!
Oh my god, Anderson and Wren. These two are way too perfect for words, honestly. And then add in the fabulous narrators of Hannah Chiclana and EM Wilde, and I am hooked. This is a beautiful story of love, loss, healing, and growing into yourself. Just so, so good!
