Abridged Audiobook
absolutely awesome. As a defense atty it is a trip I would like to take. just once.
This was a really well-crafted mystery novel, made especially interesting because it included two of Connelly's characters who are usually in two different series' of his books - the Lincoln Lawyer, and Harry Bosch. I enjoyed the trial scenes and the "outside the courtroom" stuff (that was going on with Bosch). Another great Connelly novel. I found the narrator's voice for Bosch to be very irritating. He is very good narrating the other parts of the novel but he has a tendency to sound too dramatic and in constant earnest. He almost "shouts" into the microphone. When he does Bosch's voice, he made him sound like a moron - it just didn't work.
Great book enjoyed!
I really enjoyed this book. I am going to purchase more of his books.
Great book
it was a good book of course I like all his books
Michael Connelly never disappoints. I love his character Mickey Haller. I can't wait to read more!
I tend to like anything Michael Connolly writes, however, I definitely prefer Harry Bosch to Mickey Haller. In this book you get a bit of both, but the main storyteller is Haller. That's the only reason I didn't give the book a 5. Otherwise, good story well told and well paced.
If you like lawyer stuff, this will be good for you. I got tired of all the court tactics.
If you enjoy Harry Bos-ch and his half brother, you will love this book. Can't get enough of Harry!
Really enjoyable book. Loved the characters and the story. The narrator did a great job!
