Unabridged Audiobook
Absolutely essential reading. I loved Sand Talk and couldn’t wait to read more from Tyson. This book grows from the seeds and roots of his first book, branching and vining its way through the hellish landscape of our current “increasingly complicated and decreasingly complex” reality. Strap in for a boat ride through the quagmire of disfunction our collective shadow thinly shades, just enough for us to usually avoid looking directly at. Ride through the shitstorm waterfalls of our what-about-me-demic, and find yourself bathed and held in Tyson’s gift of connective words, narrowly escaping the trappings of utter despair and ego-elation. Truly, this book is a labor of love from one human to us all, and it feels like a love note and a punch in the gut at the same time, with equal care and kindness. Thank you for your words, your time, your relation to us through this book. May the yarns continue, forever.
