I thought it seemed very forced that the author says she is formulating theories based on research. She’s just voicing general insights she got from her life experiences. Anyone with a decent level of self-awareness would come to the same conclusions she has without ever conducting a survey or research. Parts of it are somewhat thought provoking. I got a tiny bit of benefit from it.

I have never in my life thought of shame the way she opened me up to. This was a most revolutionary and necessary book at this stage of my life! Love it!

Reading this book was great, listening to Brené narrating it is even better!
