ROAMERS: family fantasy ages 8-14

Orphans Beatrice and her brother Sammy have just arrived in Port City with their new ‘Aunt’ Cynthia, a narcissistic and conniving woman. Forced to live in this ghoulish town amongst secret characters called Roamers, Beatrice is suspicious of her aunt’s motives. And when Cynthia kidnaps her brother and takes him through a hidden portal into a dangerous fantasy world, Beatrice leaps into action. With the help of a ragtag band of kids and an agoraphobic old hippie, she vows to rescue her brother and fight the evil woman to the bitter end. As fantasy and reality fold into one, Beatrice embraces her power to write her own story.
