Ella seemed to have a perfect life. Sure, it was hard work for a ten-year-old girl to keep the farm running all by herself but she didn’t mind. To her, the farm was her piece of paradise and she would do anything to make sure it stayed the same. 

Until her older brother went missing causing the dark realities of the outside world to creep into her fragile heart. Soon, the once prosperous farm began to become a shadow of its former self. The animals disappeared. The villagers started to visit less and less. Even the small cottage she called home began to fall apart. But Ella didn’t care. All she wanted was for her brother to return. But one day, a mysterious man knocked on her front door and presents her with an offer she could not refuse. Now, Ella must venture out into the dark world she fears most, whether she wants to or not.
