Unabridged Audiobook
Couldn't even finish this book. the narrator doenet go into any details about the legeling systems, abilities or spells. He basically desbrives it in general at the beginning but stoos there. There's seemingly no importance given to levels when people are fighting and he just throws in very brief statements like someone threw up a shoeld over the ship (what sort of shield, who did it, what archetype (class)). it pretty much reads like the author wanted some feel of magic but didn't want to bother with any details. The main character also just gets an extremely overpowered weapon, which seems be an excise for not bothering with an explanation of how he is able to do things that sound like it should only be possible for a long time player of the game. For a Lit RPG it feels unrealistic. It needs an edit as sentences dont seem to read correctly. This is made worse by the narrator emphasising the worng words. I assume this is at least partly because the book is translation, and a poor one at that.
Interesting and entertaining trilogy. The world is so huge the series could have gone on forever. I was amazed at the creativity of the author as he developed every ever more complex scenarios, intertwining characters from all reaches of this vast domain. For me, though, listening to get another battle, however inventive, became old. The ending was unexpected and not what I expected at all.
