Unabridged Audiobook
What in the world did I just listen to? Oh my god, this is why I hate books written by men. The fact that he’s making all the sound effects? Like whyyyyyy????? If I got paid a million to listen to this book I would simply refuse. Mind you I stopped at 00:2:18.
couldn't get very far, it was more beatbox sound effects than story.
I got 16 minutes in before the obnoxious and continued sound effects and droning voice of the narrator/author forced me to turn it off. It’s too bad. It’s probably a good story.
like the voice but not all the sound effects, makes the story confused. leave somethings to the imagination.
If you’re going to have sound effects in your audiobook, that’s fine. But for God’s sake add them in post production. Do not have the narrator make them with his mouth. This is the worst thing I’ve ever heard.
Creative and entertaining. I love the references to Jesus and family plot. It's wonderful to see a visionary story that includes God.
Too much Michael Winslow couldn't listen for very long
It's probably great for people who like this type of thing... but for me it was disgusting and got on my nerve. Hi especially hated the snorting noises
The human made sound effects are unnecessary the story itself is good, trust your readers to have the imagination to build the story from what you write, not a fan of the biblical references wasn't aware that was part of the story but to each their own
noo no no nope, no, he'll no. dude spits into the mix and hocks a loogie saying it's the soundeffect for radio static.. im out made it less then 60 secs
It was too overproduced. I could not listen very long. It did not hold my interest.
Loved it. Sound effects, narrator (style and timbre) and story line and presentation.
it was good
