An incredible tale of a rather uneventful three year trip around the world in the late 1800s! Amazing how casually this author recounted his journeys on what was a first ever accomplishment. I loved hearing these stories, especially from a perspective of 130+ years later. For a Librivox recording, the reader was the best I’ve ever heard.

This was a very interesting story, amazing that one man could achieve the trip on his own, deal with storms, “savages”, strange sightings etc. Good read
