Unabridged Audiobook
Very engaging and disturbing all at once.
I’ve read (or listened to) most of Jodi’s books, and I’ve had ones I have absolutely loved and couldn’t stop thinking about, and others that I’ve found so-so. This one was a bit more on the latter side, BUT Jodi is still phenomenal and one of my favourite authors ever, and I did really enjoy this book. The characters of the lawyer Jordan McAfee and his assistant, Selena, (as well as his son Thomas) actually show up in another one of her books that’s written after this one, called Nineteen Minutes! (Jodi rarely repeats characters but said she loved those ones so much). They’re definitely awesome players who really add to this book’s layers as well. Jodi’s always got great character development. Anyways, it wasn’t quite a 5 star read for me but a high 4 star! I recommend it 100%!
A great book. I really enjoyed the narration and Jodi’s book are always well researched as well and bringing life and it’s injustices to the forefront. Excellent! I’m never disappointed by her books
An excellent listen. A few holes in the plot, but as always Jodi Picoult makes hard to stop listening.
