Just learned this term! It’s a “TRAUMANCE!” The book itself is amazing, but this is truly one of those books brought to its best possible experience in its audiobook format. Jessie, Benji & Emmy’s story is gritty, painful and heartbreaking. It is definitely important & I can’t stress enough to check those trigger warnings if needed! I will try not to spoil anything, the blurb does a good job setting the vibe! As you can imagine, tons of yearning and angst. Benji being mute and using ASL, not many can understand his words… until this beautiful waitress comes to their table and begins speaking back to him in ASL! It’s obvious he is smitten! In this story, you can clearly see how healing finding your soulmate can be! AUDIOBOOK STYLE, NARRATORS, TIME LENGTH & REVIEW: DUET-Style Narration NARRATOR(S): Andi Eloise & Joe Arden 4 Hours 44 & Minutes Long I gotta say, Joe Arden gives the most powerful, emotional expression as he speaks those lines that really makes you feel what the character is feeling. It really makes it very hard not to find yourself tearful in the emotionally painful pages. He does a phenomenal job in this book! Andi Eloise has such a calm, sweet and innocent sound which makes her perfect for speaking the role of Emmy. I have loved every narration I have experienced by her! I love her voice so much! Audiobooks are magnificent. They have a way of immersing the reader further into the story and taking it to a whole new level. These narrators do an impeccable job of narrating their parts in this book.
