Unabridged Audiobook
A fascinating, gripping insight into the inner workings of the IRA and the many tragedies caused by the Troubles. A shame about the narration, which was very hesitant and with many strange pronunciations (eg ‘plasate’ instead of ‘placate’!).
Really enjoyed this if that's what you can say about this subject? Haven't read a lot about this subject and found it fascinating and informative. Kept you engaged all the way through.
A book well written but poorly read. Very well know Irish place names mispronounced, common words also misread or mispronounced. The narrator ruined an otherwise good account.
