Unabridged Audiobook
I absolutely adored Sea of Charms. One of my favorite things about this series is the way all three books weave together. The characters, relationships, and pieces of the world build upon one another so naturally.This book in particular touched my heart. Beneath all of the adventure are some surprisingly profound reflections on love, purpose, friendship, and what makes a life meaningful. I especially loved the idea of love as a choice “choosing to spend your day with someone and then choosing to spend another and another.” Another line that stayed with me was, “People think pleasure is the source of happiness...it’s purpose and passion.” There is a lot of wisdom tucked into this otherwise whimsical fantasy.And Ree's heart absolutely made me cry. He is so pure and precious, loyal, sincere, and true. He might be my favorite character across the series. I also continue to love the balance of adventure and coziness in this series. There is plenty of discovery and fantasy, but it's the quieter moments of friendship, connection, and found family that make this world feel so special.More than anything, I'm not ready to leave these characters. I really hope there is more to come, especially because I need to see what happens with Kaz and Tera Lou! This book has me ready to reread all 3 again. Sea of Charms was magical, heartfelt, adventurous, and full of characters I've genuinely grown to love.

Main character was stupidly stubborn almost to the end of the book and then changes her mind for no apparent reason. Who does that??
