Unabridged Audiobook
This book was generally entertaining. It felt like it was missing a large section of back story however. There is a 10 year jump, where all of a sudden main characters with connections just appear fully formed with little to know info on their character progression. I like what the author is trying to do, reminded me of the "Arisen" series mixed with the "Sandman Slim" series, but a little explanation and further info would go a long way. The book was only an 8hr listen which was just too short for the money you pay. Good character development and further info to flesh out the over all runtime would really improve this story greatly. The military info was lacking and came across as poorly researched with regards to the tech and equipment. The lingo was off, to much use and reference to the team members as SEALS. This has the story to much better, if it was polished correctly.
Great blend of fiction and non... Beowulf's, the Veil... 28 Days type. Loved it!
