Unabridged Audiobook
Great read!
This is the kind of true crime book that scratches my need to know everything. Beautifully narrated.
I really liked it
Went very deep into the investigation and lives of some involved, that seemed to drag the story out a bit for me, loosing me at times with were the story was going. But still enjoyed it, true crime enthusiasts would enjoy it very much i am guessing.
Was an interesting listen. The facts were sometimes a bit complicated to follow, this considering was a true story shows the dedication that the police force and the people involved in his hunt stuck at it for so many years. Very much worth a listen.
This just goes to show you the hard work and many hours of these people will go through to apprehend the the murder. Although many crimes go unsolved. They don't give up.
I was almost sure this book was going to end without disclosing who the killer was! After listening for over 15 hours I would have been supremely frustrated. Thank goodness they appended the additional information gathered after the book was released that speaks about the murderers capture and trial. This book has dated a bit and the copious amounts of dry investigative detail can get a bit tedious at times. But despite this, it was a good listen and now I can safely say I know everything I ever want to know about the Green River murder investigation
Chilling! Initially, I was unaware that this book was published a full ten years before the arrest of the killer. As such, the original version of this novel concludes without naming the elusive culprit who looms namelessly in the background, like a phantom. The audio version contains an addendum written after the killer was caught, like a final chapter that had to wait for a decade to be written. One which the book had been building up to all along.
I liked the painstaking detail of how the author showed the investigation. The epilog in the recording version was good also. The last 5 minutes of the diagnoses I don't agree with but I highly recommend the book. Narration was great also.
