Unabridged Audiobook
This just made my “Favorite books” list. It was laugh-out-loud funny (literally) and just charming. Loved it. This will be one I play again when I need to lift my spirits.
Loved this book. There were a few times I was even laughing out loud at things the characters said or did. Very cute, not “smutty” and a light read.
My favourite book from this author, hands down. The two characters are delightfully funny and their stories apart and separate are entertaining. You know it will work out for them but you laugh along at their banter and antics all the way. The narrators did a good job too, conveying the humour and the touching moments too.
No spoilers here. This was a fun quick listen. There wasn’t a whole lot to the plot, which was great because the author was able to deliver without overdoing it. It’s a very lighthearted story with minimal conflict or drama. The story stood by itself, it could’ve lasted a bit longer in my opinion. No lack in main character development, but I wish there might have been more with the sub characters. Maddie and Sebastian are so great together, there’s a genuineness about their feelings towards one another. The humor felt natural and there was a flirty banter that was nice too. Austin Rising was ok, but I wasn’t sold that his voice was the right fit for Sebastian’s character. Whereas for Maddie’s character, Melissa Moran hits it out of the park. She expresses and embraces Maddie’s silly quirks and softness. Overall, it was fun and I’d listen to it again!
Cute! I enjoyed this book!
I enjoyed every second if this book. A must read. Narrators were great !
This was a feel good story, funny and flirty. Hands down a great book. No smut but heavy on the feels. It was a great length, it could’ve been longer and developed more- since so much happens in a short period of time- but also it was just enough! Now I want to see if there’s any stories on the other characters that debut because I need to know more. Austin Rising doing a Maddie voice was funny to me as well. I found myself laughing in the beginning when he would switch voices but overall didn’t take away from the story, it was just funny after hearing Mellisa play Maddie’s voice.
