Was hooked by first chapter
I thought the story was engaging enough to keep listening through the strange narration. The narrator has an odd style. Her inflections were unnatural, especially when reading the dialog. People don't talk like that. Maybe she thought it was building tension. It was just distracting though.

It was a good story, but it was hard to follow. I also thought it was unnecessary for such fowl language to be used.

I was trying to guess the whole time practically, it was interesting! I like when a book lays you down and buttons everything up for you at the end too. There were so many questions but they were followed by all the answers.
Booooooring!!!! Too much ridiculous dialogue, characters that I don’t care about, and almost no hint that this book is a thriller - nothing creepy or foreboding. I stopped listening after 55 minutes because I couldn’t take it anymore.

Really enjoyed this story and its rich characters.
Loved everything about this book. I am looking forward to my next read. I love the narrator , Gildart Jackson. He does bring the book to life.
