The Second Surgeon: Psychological Horror – Medical Thriller – Supernatural Horror

What if consciousness could be extracted… and replaced?

Maia Frost is a brilliant medical student haunted by the death of her younger brother—a case that left no room for error, no explanation, and no peace. Desperate to escape her obsession, she joins a group of friends on a night exploration of the abandoned St. Jude Psychiatric Hospital.

But inside St. Jude, medicine did not fail—it evolved into something far more terrifying.

Hidden within the preserved office of the infamous Dr. Malcolm Vey lies a forbidden theory: identity is not fixed, but fluid. A substance that can be erased, reshaped… and transferred.

As strange phenomena escalate and reality begins to fracture, Maia and her friends are pulled into the remnants of a horrifying experiment—one designed to strip away the human mind and replace it with something else entirely.

To survive, Maia must confront not only the darkness within the asylum, but the one growing inside herself.

Because some discoveries don’t just change you…

They become you.

The Second Surgeon is a gripping psychological horror and medical thriller that blends supernatural terror, identity horror, and dark scientific obsession—perfect for readers who enjoy mind-bending suspense, haunted locations, and chilling twists.
