Unabridged Audiobook
I am a fan of Donna Tartt's writing but found her reading abysmal. It seems to me that she could well afford professional readers who would have done justice to each of the characters. Her attempts at distinguishing the characters with attitude fell flat and often left me confused. This was especially true with Richard who, when unidentified as was often the case, I assumed was a female character. Liked the book, though.
This is a very well written book. But because I greatly disliked all the characters, I was very depressed reading it. I kept hoping for some redemption so I kept reading. But alas...
Good
Narrator skillfully differentiated Bunny's voice.
I loved the book. A little long but overall well crafted. The characters although not like-able were very well designed to illustrate humanity and its forms of cruelty, selfishness and darkness. 100% recommend.
The book was well crafted but very dark and dismal. There weren’t any likable characters. The author made good attempt to read it but I found her voice and intonation hard to take for 20 hours.
Really enjoyed this novel. Perfect dark academia for fall
