SECRETS OF THE RABBI'S MAFIA: A JAKE COOPER crime thriller

A murder inside Chicago's ultra-Orthodox community.

A woman arrested for the crime.

And the one man who believes the police have the wrong suspect.

When Jake Cooper's girlfriend is accused of murder, he begins asking questions inside a community where outsiders rarely see what happens behind closed doors.

Jake isn't a cop. He isn't a licensed detective. He's a former Talmudic scholar trained in investigation by a retired detective—and he understands the people, traditions, and secrets the police don't.

But the deeper Jake digs, the more dangerous those secrets become.

Behind the respected facade of a powerful rabbi lies a hidden world of intimidation, extortion, kidnapping—and murder.

To clear the woman he loves, Jake must expose the truth before the people protecting it decide Jake is the next problem they need to eliminate.

Not all detectives carry badges.
