This book had little actionable information about starting or running a business. What it did have was every liberal pet issue that is in vogue right now - climate change, DEI, gender inequality, etc. In her endorsement of DEI, she never discusses how to balance DEI with merit or even if there should be a balance between the two. From what she wrote, it appears that her position is that DEI hiring policies should always take precedence over experience, knowledge and skill. At several points in the book she specifically says the problem is "white men" - it seems that she is trying to fight racism with more racism. When discussing gender inequalities, she said that only 3% of business start-up loans go to women, but she never said how many of the applicants for these loans were women. If they make up 50% of all applicants, then there is an obvious problem, but if they only make up 3% of the applicants, then there is no issue. Her lack of data makes it difficult to take her arguments seriously. These are just a couple examples of how she takes one side of an issue without an objective presentation of the other side of the issue, other solutions, or the problems with the solution she is endorsing.

The book description is not what it actually is. This is more of communist manifesto then anything helping to inspire or explain how to for business.
