'A brilliant debut, full of everything I love: a sparkling and fully realized heroine, an intricate and deadly system of magic, and a searing romance that kept me reading long into the night. Serpent & Dove is an absolute gem of a book.' —Sarah J. Maas, #1 New York Times bestselling author of A Court of Thorns and Roses series

Bound as one, to love, honor, or burn. Book one of a stunning fantasy duology, this tale of witchcraft and forbidden love is perfect for fans of Kendare Blake and Sara Holland.

Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.

As a huntsman of the Church, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. But when Lou pulls a wicked stunt, the two are forced into an impossible situation—marriage.

Lou, unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, must make a choice. And love makes fools of us all.

Don't miss Gods & Monsters, the spellbinding conclusion of this epic trilogy, coming July 2021!

Couldnt stop listening. It started slow, but after a little while its just a whirlwind of drama, action and romance. The build up is slow, but also amazing, the anticipation is a nice touch. Its also quite funny, and doesnt filter «bad» language or the more steamy moments between the main characters. Now that im finished listening to the first book, i find myself restless and happy to know there is a second book. For those of you who like action, witchcraft, forbidden romance, i will recomend.

I enjoyed the books, but the male narrator is absolutely awful. His voice is very nasal and his reading tone and pace kept distracting me because they were so bad. The female was quite good and I wish she had narrated the whole audiobook. I had to download the ebook to enjoy the story.

This book was absolutely phenomenal. Witty, steamy, and just all around delightful. It made me feel so many different emotions. I was enchanted and I’m eagerly awaiting the 2nd book. The female narrator was wonderful! While I wasn’t impressed with the male he did grow on me a bit about halfway through the book. I just found his voice to be a touchy nasally and his reading flow choppy.

I enjoyed this book! Unique characters and the storyline was captivating. I thought the narrators were very pleasant to listen to and do not relate to the nasal comment.

I love a strong female lead. This book was so funny! Not the typical, predictable characters and dialogue. I loved that! Everyone was right about the male narrator. But it was not bad enough that I wouldn’t listen to this book!
