New to the Lucas Davenport series but quickly became addicted. Have bought three other books in the series to look forward to.

Story drags on. Hate the reference to Native Americans as Indians. And no idea as to Native speech pattern or tone. And the constant Mother F#@$! Narrator's "characters voices" are irritating to say the least. I enjoyed the first audiobook, but couldn't finish this one. Hopefully it's not the same narrator on the next Prey audio books, or I'll have to pass.

Was very disappointed in the book. The story seemed forced; the main character is awful - felt more for the criminals than the main detectives . I am passing on any further books by this author

Early Lucas Davenport, he grows in subsequent books and it was funny seeing him early in his career.
