I truly enjoyed the story again via audiobook. They always hit different when you listen. Narrator did a great job and I was just as immersed as I was reading. Perfect for a winter day while doing a puzzle! Picking up where book one left off this was a perfect escape from reality this weekend! All encompassing, Winters weaves a tale of so much intensity and depth. This book was one hard hit after the other with surprises you don’t see coming. There’s action, some super spicy moments, tons of humor and heart! I am always a fan of books that get you in the feels and I am pretty sure this book cause all the feels. I laughed out loud, screamed at some idiot for stupid choices, panted along and swooned! This is a series I will reread over time because I will need to revisit the crazy!

I absolutely love this series and to now have it coming to audio is amazing! Cora is one of my favorite FMC’s and her fierce personality has me hooked. I just hope that Hudson can step up as her mate - and his cat.
