Unabridged Audiobook
I thought it would be great but it turned out to be no more the enviromental fluff. Seems the author thinks sharks are more noble then humans. I like sharks and enjoy watching them and learning about them but they are just fish. Always refering to the low numbers of shark attacks on humans as if that mattered more then the countless people who are injuried each year by the sharks. Yes we take a risk going in the ocean but I would trade the life of every shark in the ocean to have my leg back if I lost it to a shark and so would this self righteous left wing nut.
I really enjoyed listening to this book on my way to and from work each day it only took a few days for me to finish b/c I didn't want to get out of the car. It was very informative and had great stories as well. I didn't realize until I started listening to it that it was written by the guy that wrote 'Jaws' which of course later inspired the well known Universal Studios movie. Having a great respect for nature and all those that are a part of it, I found it especially interesting to learn how the shark fits into it all and it's role in keeping nature perfectly balanced. Great read!
If you like sharks and other sea creatures, this book is for you. Many interesting facts and some funny stories told by Peter Benchley. A good read!
