A SHATTERED WORLD: IN THE WAKE OF CHAOS

In 'A Shattered World: In the Wake of Chaos' by Parker Kelly, the Porter family's idyllic life is upended when an inexplicable phenomenon plunges the United States into chaos. After the death of his father, Garrett Porter relocates his wife, Andie, and their two children, Madison and Oliver, to their sprawling West Texas ranch, hoping for a new beginning. However, their aspirations quickly unravel as communication systems fail and society collapses around them.

Drawing on the survival skills imparted by his father, Garrett discovers an old Ham Radio that connects them to a distant, struggling society. His father's foresight proves invaluable when he uncovers a hidden bunker filled with weapons and supplies, alongside a foreboding letter that warns of impending threats. The arrival of Andie's sister, Charlie, and her family prompts the relatives to band together, fortifying their ranch against the threats of a world in disarray. As they confront the harsh realities of survival, they must rely on a tight circle of people to share their resilience and the bonds forged through shared knowledge, navigating a landscape irrevocably altered by chaos.
