Her brutal honesty made her amusingly unique. Carrie Fisher is the true meaning of one in a million. Hilarious.
I enjoy Carrie Fisher's sarcasm and honesty in dealing with her depression. I enjoyed Wishful Drinking more, as it was a bit funnier, but I still recommend highly.
Written with humor and
intelligence, but also vulnerability - Carrie Fisher's second memoir is a great read and personal look into a pop culture icon's life and all that it entails. Star Wars fans will love her tidbits about her iconic character - Princesd Leia, as well as great nuggets from the films. Old film lovers will enjoy her stories about her mother, Oscar nominated star Debbie Reynolds, and anyone who has ever suffered from mental illness will surely have a huge takeaway from this with the frank and detailed discussions about a topic many of us pretend to ignore. I adrored this book and I adore Ms. Fisher.
