Unabridged Audiobook
Having grown up in the 60s and 70s, I've known about this book, believing it was predominantly about the impact of DDT on wildlife and the need to stop that. Wow, was I wrong. This book covers much, much more and though it was a wake up call in 1963, now it's a relevant cautionary tale. With each incident Rachel details, I researched the Internet to find out the rest of the story, intrigued to find the the driving forces that caused the death and destruction with improper use of chemicals, is still present today. Highly recommend to all boomers out there that know bits a pieces of life before the EPA, this book will fill in the gaps. Enjoy
