Unabridged Audiobook
The Silent Woman gave me “Verity” and “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” vibes in the best possible way! Jade moves in with her new husband Wells and he has an unusual setup. His ex-wife Sylvie lives in the guest house. She had an injury years ago and unable to communicate or do much… Or is she? Although it was predictable and I guessed all the twists I still really enjoyed this story! It was addicting I couldn’t put the book down, it was such an amazing page turning thriller with themes of strong women, great character development and amazing storyline. I highly recommend reading this if you want to read a truly incredible page turning thriller that you can’t stop reading!
Devoured this, aurally speaking. The narrators are good and the tale absorbing.
Enjoyed the twists and turns. Easy listening.
Pretty good read, made the miles fly by as we drove. A little predictable, but had some good twists. Readers were pretty good also.
Great read with unexpected twists!
Really nice listen.
Amazing casual listen! Loved the spin on the classic "murder" mystery. Very satisfying ending!
Really enjoyed this book, few great twists and well defined characters.
I loved this book! Kept a good pace, a lot of plot twists and I really enjoyed the narration. Well worth the credit!
Good plot, lots of twists, bingeable
I enjoyed it. It was not a great twist and turn book, but it was enjoyable and well written. the narrators did a good job.
Entertaining story that definitely helped pass the time.
The book was good but the end was predictable
Loved the book. Five stars!
Great book! The twists and turns were plausible and left you guessing.
SO good! Great writing.
Unusual plot which I enjoyed and had me intrigued so held my attention.
ok but too slow.
I enjoyed this book very much, it kept me guessing and slowly unveiled the story behind his first wife. The narration is pleasant. I look forward to another book of MK.
I listened to this after listening to The Silent Patient. They are both great books, well worth a listen.
Fairly good overall and keeps you constantly revising your theories as you go, but waltzes right past the perfect setup for a final twist at the end for a finish that feels like a let down in comparison. Feels like the author had it in mind at first and just couldn't connect the dots so settled for the "easier" route.
