I found the content of this short book interesting and helpful. Already familiar with documentaries, blog posts and podcasts on minimalism, I was surprised at how specific his advice was. I think some folks would find this approach refreshing while others may find it too narrow and not as applicable to the average person. However, he did present some good ideas about simplifying and gave anecdotes on how he did it. The narrator was really terrible and overly dramatic, which made it difficult for me to focus on what the author had to say. However, since it was such a short book (just 2 hours of audio), it was bearable.

As a 50 year old father reflecting back on how I lived my life and those who lived a more minimalist lifestyle; This is the type of book I would highly recommend. The author did an excellent job of making helpful suggestions without preaching, allowing you to make easy incremental improvements in your life. Our greatest hidden treasure in life is our time and this book helps us to uncover it.
