Unabridged Audiobook
I LOVED No Small Sin, so I was exceptionally excited to start Sinners Keepers. First off, I don’t know how Genna did it, but she has created TWO blond heroes that I love. BLOND! HOW? Second, I loved the interactions between Hunt and all her men, Ijah, Alec, and Law. You can truly feel the depth of their feelings for each other, and how protective everyone is of their “family unit.” Their seggsy scenes together were all top tier and well written. The pacing is quick, and I was kept on the edge of my seat the whole time. I felt like I never expected the outcomes we got, and I love it when an author can surprise me. My only criticism is Hunt….her only excuse is a traumatic brain injury, otherwise I’d be hella side-eying her for some of her decisions. Okay…I’m still side-eying her but thank god she has three capable men to keep her alive, amirite? In conclusion, all hail Law.
For those who find themselves drawn to stories where the shadows are as captivating as the light, this narrative unfolds as a thrilling tempest of passion and danger. It's a journey into the heart of a romance that doesn't shy away from the complexities of human nature, where right and wrong blur in the face of desire. Picture a world painted in hues of twilight, where the stakes are always impossibly high, and the characters dance on the edge of an emotional precipice. This isn't a gentle love story, but rather a rollercoaster of intensity, designed for readers who demand depth and a touch of the forbidden in their romantic escapes. The relationships here are not simple, but rather a tangled web of motivations and secrets, compelling you to question every loyalty and every truth. Be prepared to be swept away in a torrent of emotions, as this story promises to hold you captive until the very last page with its dark allure and relentless pace.
5 4 5 I absolutely love Hunt. And her boys. And Genna. But I really, really love Hunt. Her past is dark and tragic, but she's tough as nails and never backs down.I've loved Ijah since No Small Sin and was so excited when we found out he was getting his own book with Hunt. Add in Alec and Law and this little reverse harem was the perfect mix of good top, bad top, dominant attitudes and hot as sin men. The spice was just so good with them all. I couldn't get enough. The twist in this one had my head spinning, I didn't see it coming even though I knew something was up. I really enjoyed the action/suspense and overall plot, the dark rom com vibes were great. I don't know how Genna packs so much punch in so few pages, but I love that she writes quick reads with substance. I flew through this book and already can't wait to read it again while I wait for what's next in Fate Trace.Just reread this one via audio and it was just as fantastic as I remembered. Avery Reid was, in particular, an absolute gem in this production and I loved it so much. Thank you Genna for the advanced listen!
