I'm giving this audio book 5/5, not because I'm claiming that it's the best piece of literature in the world, but because the story was so captivating from beginning to end. I listened to the whole thing in only a few sittings. My heart breaks for Sarah. I can't believe a young girl's life can be so terrible at every turn. I really hope she is at peace now.

I couldn't stop listening to this book. It was gripping from start to end!

Strange story about human trafficking. Not quite believable. Some parts of the story simply don’t make sense. The author has a strangely prudish and child-like world view in which all things, places and people are either good or bad. No gray shades ever. The narration adds to this naive and somewhat dim-witted account of events.
