Amazing book, couldn’t stop once I started! However I’m left wanting more!
My first ever full length Audiobook and it was amazing from start to finish. I could of listened to double the amount of hours than it was. Jim Ross will always be the voice of wrestling for me. What an amazing story told great by JR & Paul O'Brien. I hope there will be at least one more book.
Jim Ross is THE voice of professional wrestling for multiple generations. In Slobberknocker: My Life in Wrestling, Mr. Ross gives listeners a glimpse behind the curtain of sports entertainment as he recounts the colorful characters and wild tales that ultimately led him all the way to WWE’s Hall of Fame. This is a must listen for all wrestling fans, but the hilarious stories and valuable life lessons will be enjoyed by all.
Fantastic story and the narration is perfect since it's in Jim Ross's voice.
Jim Ross is one of the nicest people I've met and not just in the wrestling business. I have only met JR once at the only London Wrestlecon and I could have waited in the line to see him all day, just listening to Jim talk to everyone he saw at his table as if they were the closest of friends. actually meeting him was a day I won't forget. later that day Jim did photo ops with fans which lasted longer than any wrestler that day including HBK Shawn Michaels and Bret The Hitman Hart but afterwards he was seen leaving a backroom to go to his hotel room and was surrounded by fans all trying to talk to him, get more photos and autographs. Jim never showed any sign of frustration or displeasure in practicality being mobbed, he just kindly spoke to fans, posed for photos and gave autographs. Jim being one of my favourite parts of wrestling started early as I was born in 1989 and started watching wrestling young and Good Ol JR was the soundtrack to my childhood of wrestling so as you could imagine when I heard Jim Ross was writing a book I was so excited. This is a 6 star book but I unfortunately can't rate more the 5 so that's that. Thank you Jim, God bless. We love you.
