Unabridged Audiobook
Really, really liked this book! The characters were very interesting, I just loved Laura and her story, and I thought everything was tied up nicely at the end.
I love Paula Hawkins’ books. Such great character development and depiction of mental illness and personal struggle. Ms. Pike’s narration is phenomenal. She does irony, hystrionics, and male voices so well. She brought these people alive.
I am thoroughly impressed with this book. There is nothing like a twist to keep readers engaged. Narrator was great as well, I'm a huge fan of voice distinction between characters.
Paula Hawkins never fails to impress me
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. It has an interesting plot though there are some sad moments in the personal lives of three of the characters, especially, and I found that a little difficult at times. Still, it shows how these events affected the people and how their lives were shaped by them and why the later events happened. I chose this book because the NYTimes gave a shout-out to the incredibly good narrator, Rosamund Pike, and they were right. She was amazing and I feel added much to an already good thriller.
I thought this book was entirely too slow and convoluted. Too many story lines and confusing to keep track of. I didn’t think that it lived up to the hype. The one thing I enjoyed was Rosamunda Pike’s narration.
Great Book!!! So many surprises - amazing plot twists!
The beginning was a little hard to follow but it was a good book with several twists! It was a quick read/listen and I really enjoyed it.
We lived this Novel. The excellent narrative and interesting characters kept us riveted. The narrator did a truly powerful job interpreting each character’s voice!
It had some drawn out portions and I was hopeful for a different ending. I enjoyed the narration and always enjoy the author.
Paula Hawkins never fails to deliver a great read !!!!
