Unabridged Audiobook
I’d never read anything by this author and I was glad I gave it a shot! I love this type of story and it was a great book which kept my attention (a little too much when I needed to focus on something else!) Can’t wait to give other titles a “read”!
The last big baddie of this book is a right wing, Arian brotherhood, holy rollin’, commie??? You read that correctly, a scripture spouting commie! It’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard in my life. The only thing that saves this book for me is the climax happens in my hometown of the Twin Cities, Monroe/West Monroe, La. so, even though I moved away many years ago, I know all the streets, river, bridges, buildings, and areas he is referring to. This book was terrible and the narrator wasn’t much better. Not sure if I’ll give this author another try or not.
After reading a few chapters I almost put it aside. It was a little violent/ vigilante for my taste. I'm glad I didn't. As the characters personalities developed the plot became more apparent than just a good vs evil tale. The narrator was fabulous I had no trouble distinguishing between characters.
Great story
Got bored. Didn’t finish.
Graphic details but keeps you interested to the end.
Awesome. Suspenseful. Educational
Good story, grabs your attention right away. Drags a pinch towards the end, but still good story overall. Good narrator.
The narrator was not that good. I Think it was took away from the story.
Somewhat of a gruesome storyline with some needless details about sexual adventures not necessary. Good listen while walking during Covid that kept me listening. Narrator was pretty good
I really enjoyed the story and all the details. The ending seemed to be very quick.
First time I read this author. Excellent story, but the reader was superb! Ml
