Spicy Booktok has exploded into its own community that has brought with it a whole new, delicious world to be explored. and as such, Smut Lovers: The Conference, was born of a desire to bridge the gaps between readers, writers, and those within the Kink and BDSM communities at large.

It is my hope that this book will prove itself to be a resource for anyone that falls within the communities mentioned and that the resources provided will help others navigate their own journeys with a fraction of the hassle of my own experience.

The ultimate goal is to provide my fellow spicy readers, writers and those interested, with a helpful resource to reference or jump start their own research into the world of kink in a way that will better help them understand themselves and what they enjoy.

I’d like to invite you to think of me as your substitute Tia. The auntie who still makes dumb mistakes and probably has a spending problem but is willing to be called out for it.

Or maybe the best friend who will do what they can to encourage you to stand up for yourself and keep your precious little bean-body and soul safe. Maybe even the older, crazy plant neighbor you sit and drink wine with outside the patio of your apartment, who will hopefully help you avoid as many bumps in the road with anecdotes of their own pitfalls. I might even share a new face or two of people who spend their time educating with more poise and grace than I ever could.
