An amazingly well written masterpiece. The narrator encapsulated the many accents and intentions of each character perfectly.

Another page-turner thriller from Jo Nesbo. Unpredictable, joining various places and time frames, exploring human physiology, trauma, relationships, lies, truths and so on. Some descriptions of the murders were brutal and shocking. Overall, a complicated web of a mystery and huge amount of suspense.

It took me some time to get into this book. I had trouble with the narrator and the different names of the characters. But it did get easier. The plot was a little difficult at the beginning as well but I think it was because I couldn't keep track of the characters. But about a third the way in it got better. It was a good read. I am glad I persevered.
