Unabridged Audiobook
Where was this book when I was going up? Thank you, Morgan, for this great, practical book. Social Skills Essentials for Teens is a gem for teens looking to feel a sense of belonging in their social groups and at school. The tone of this book is encouraging and relatable, akin to having a friend gently guiding you through the messiness of navigating social situations, as well as making friends! I would recommend all parents to buy this for their growing teens at home. 5 stars!
Social Skills Essentials for Teens is a book that teenagers can enjoy and learn from. Tyler has done an excellent job of integrating both theory and practice. This allows the listener to have a better grasp of the difficulties they may encounter and how to face these challenges in a realistic and manageable way. The practical tips and examples given are also specific and structured which can help those who do not know where to start, begin their journey with more confidence and assurance. A fantastic resource for teenagers as they navigate the complexities of today’s world:)
Having had experience of 4 teenagers myself, I was interested in listening to this book. As time goes on, I become more and more impressed with the amount of information out there to help young people navigate the confusion of the transition from child to adult. There are so many tips within this audiobook that are helpful, actionable and very relatable. With the technology that is available now, an audiobook is a really easy way for young people to take on this information, great listen!
This book breaks things down in clear sections, which makes it easy for young teens to learn how to read body language, how to start a conversation without sounding awkward and building social confidence. There are plenty of useful nuggets for teens to pick up at their own pace, with exercises that help strengthen their emotional intelligence.
As a parent of a teen who often struggles in social settings, this audiobook was exactly what we as parents needed. It doesn’t just throw around vague advice, it actually talks to teens in a way that’s clear, relatable, and empowering. What stood out most was how practical it all is. The conversation starters, confidence tips, and social media guidance were genuinely useful. The narrator's tone felt supportive and engaging, and by the end, my teen was more willing to be open to new experiences. Highly recommended if you want to build your teen’s confidence without pushing them too far out of their comfort zone.
