Unabridged Audiobook
This was an outstanding opportunity to follow a mystery set in a cultural phenomenon. The book allows the reader to enjoy a mystery and learn about an unusual traditional practice embedded in Nigerian, and some other country's, cultures.
A very troublesome and interesting topic. The story seemed to drag on and on a bit. The discovery of the killer was a bit of a let down. very worthwhile to read and learn.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this book, from Elizabeth's George's excellent storytelling to Simon Vance's skillful narration.
I knew of this atrocity, but never have I ever read a story that gives more depth to the fact that it still occurs today in modern society. How a man can determine what God has created is unclean, shows how warped intelligence can be and highlights the weakness of men.
