Unabridged Audiobook
Although the stories by William Kent Krueger always have death as an underlying theme - I mean he was the sheriff for a long time, and then an investigating detective, usually investigating murders - but Spirit Crossing has an added, more personal element. Being 76, I tend to think more and more about the how and the when my life will end, but for younger person, hoping to have many years ahead, yet knowing that death will come much sooner, it’s different. William Kent Krueger touches on so many difficult themes in this story. A very good listen. The narrator, ia as always, excellent.
Like all authors this one had to bring the gay society into his books. Why the need to shine a light on this lifestyle is necessary I don’t know. Other than that it was a good listen, but hoping for more suspense. I really enjoy his earlier books
